They said the legal drinking age in Buffalo is 21, the oldest a hockey player in that tournament can be is 19-20. They were all illegally drunk lol. good stuff

In Russia, people start drinking pretty much right after breast feeding...

and regardless of nationality, I would be surprised if any teenager at that age wouldn't find a drink to celebrate after such a big win. Tho, missing Christmas (Nick, maybe you can verify which Christmas is most predominantly celebrated in Russia) because you couldn't walk on the plane shows a certain lack of foresight.

For us (Russians) we celebrate New Years as the biggest event in the year, we party hard during it, that is when we exchange the gifts like you guys do on your Christmas.
Orthodox Christmas (January 7th) is just a dinner for most part. Tomorrow I have to attend Russian community event. It's a yearly thing obviosly. Myself and 8 of my other Russian bro's were banned from it for a couple of years back in the day (when we were younger and wilder). Cerently reminds me of this whole getting kicked off the plane thing haha.
