Recently changed slave cylinder.

Is this the master one that want to be replaced too?

PS It seems to be perfect obsolescence planning or just crappy original parts....

depends how bad it is leaking. itll piss all over your floor mat. the only place to get the part is the dealer also. at least that i could find.

Get it replaced.
It's slippery stuff and you don't want it on your feet while driving.
I almost rear-ended a car when mine was leaking.

For my escort I bought a new one from one of the online sites. Cost me $50 and worked good.

I had exactly same problem - these cylinders suck!

And now I have master cylinder gone - they doublesuck...

I'm on my second one...and it leaks sometimes. Maybe a twisted seal?
It leaked earlier, then went away, and now again, I noticed some floor-mat wet spots!
Pain in the ass to change too!

Knock on wood, my second one is going on 3 years now.
I think they got it right with the revised design on the seals.

sounds like your master cylinder is leaking ...
