do you have an appropriate set of dampers also? you'll run into issues fairly soon if you keep the stock dampers in place

also don't forget to get an alignment after.

good luck

Sounds like fun. Glad you're going the sportlines cause the pro-kits don't give much of a noticable drop. I put pro's on my 07 zx5 and they don't look much different, however I do have to deal with a s*** driveway everymorning.

I know all about the problems I will run into without changing the dampers but I am willing to run the risk for the time being. I can't wait any longer to get them in.

I made an error. I have the Pro-Kit not the Sport Line springs. I just pulled the box out of the shed and realized the error I made. Either way its getting dropped tomorrow. WooHoo!!!!!

just IMHO. you should do it once and do it properly. if its the spring that doesn't have the drop you want.. get the corrrect springs.. and if you know you need new dampers.. get the dampers

springs along will give you the lowered look but it will be seriously underdamped and will handle poorly

i guess if the look is that important to you go for it.. just understand up front you're wasting your money but doing it 'wrong' the first time

QFT.

Your going to go back and get new dampers in no time, installing the springs and keeping the stock dampers is a complete waste as you will be doing it all over again in a few months.

I have been riding on the Pro-Kit Eibachs for 4 years with stock dampers (as a daily driver) and so far so good.

If you had the Sprot Lines then I would agree with changing the dampers as well.

Where and how much are you paying to get them installed? I have to do the same thing to my car and am trying gauge what it's gonna cost.

I was quoted $425 @ Ford but I payed $180 to have them installed and it took about 2 hours. I had them installed at Birchmount Spring. It is the Eibach Pro-Kit, I was wrong when I said Sportlines. Here are a few pic's.

I couldn't be happier with the way it now sits. I haven't had the chance to run it out on some on and off ramps, but I will tonight as we are going to the T.F.C. game. I will let you all know how it handles.
