Fords Wrc Program

Its obvious that Ford is committed to its WRC program for the foreseeable future. Good news for all the rally fans out their !! Also if you read the end of the article you will notice Fords intention to build an RS version of the Focus (not available in Canada I assume :angry: )

Ford is a good car maker, except in North America. Europeans are smart enough to realize that not all good cars are land yachts. The competition for the "car dollar" is greater in europe than here. The car manufacturers realize this over there. The Focus in Europe is in a totally different class than here, it isn't the econo-box, it's more of a midsize car. The WRC is like NASCAR here, the real car racing series. Because the American public isn't as sophisticated as Canadians, we suffer.

The WRC is like NASCAR here, the real car racing series - I agree 100% and well said. I'd sure like to take a drive in the "up-coming" RS Focus !!
