I believe they actually run those motors on JET2. Same fuel as fighter jets and airliners. It's a more refined form of diesel. I've seen a Cummins out of an 18 wheeler look like that once. It was amazing, it was a cab over, there was a rod sticking up into the cab of the truck, I think there were some brown stains on the drivers seat of that one.
