Turbo Project Update
#1
Alright Booost!

So I started getting the focus ready for the turbo setup. Got the race header out. Most of the EGR is removed. I just finished putting in the bigger injectors and mounted the intercooler and some of the piping. I have to drain the oil and drop the pan to tap the return line and get a T for the oil feed out the back of the block. On top of this I have my suspension coming in. Its the same setup that was on the 04-05 Saleen focus. Race Craft 22" front and 25" rear sway bars, springs, Eibach struts and shocks. $285 on ebay. Here a link to a site who sells the same setup. Massive Speed System Ill post some pics of my progress.

Ok here are some pics of my progress.

Was there an actual auction for this kit? I've been watching the last couple of days but they only have it listed with the "Buy it now @ $499". I haven't seen one that you can bid on.

Iv hit a bit of a snag with my project with clearance between the turbo and fan. I Bolted the turbo to the manifold but in order to do so I had to remove the cooling fan. So now I am trying to figure how to get the fan back in. Anybody have any ideas? Christmas is killing me no time to work on the car! Working 6 days a week.
Ill post some pics.
Good news is my Saleen suspension has arrived!

well there are three tried and true sport compact methods to fiting the fan back in...

1 mount fans in front of rad as pusher types... Cheapest medium effort

2 Slim fit fans .... middle of the road expense .. defiantly least effort..

3. Honda half rads... they work surprisingly well for there size... put one on the opposite side of your turbo... prolly the most expensive... lots of effort..

number four is more application specific

4 . get rid of the AC coil and move the rad a couple inches up... prolly takes some custom fab work and no AC no cry
