Need Help Please
#1
thanks in advance everyone,

I have a 2007 Focus ZX3 with the GFX Package.

I bought the Enkei EVO 6 Rims (with the 42mm offset) and 215/45/17 Toyo Proxes Tires, I then changed springs(ford racing) for a 1.5" drop.

Now before the drop, all was o.k., but after the drop, the front and the rear wheels on the inside of the fender started to rub, Not on the top of the tires, but rather on the sidewall of the tires.

I would like to know if anyone had this sort of problem before, and if I change the tires to the 205/45/17's, would that correct the problem.

thanks a lot!

yeah, you should of done the search before you got the 215's. Lot of ppl do have the same problem.

Couple of things you can do,
1- change the tires to 205's, easy way out if you could return the tires.
2- roll the fenders out, with either a rolling tool or baseball bat.
Do a search, this has been mentioned and i think there are links to the rolling methods.

goodluck
