How long ago was that????

I know 2000 SE's w/ 100K currently sell for $1500-2800 at auction. I can see the ones that sold last week in toronto/oshawa between 80k-120k all sold under 2500cdn.

Based on this I would speculate that the market value of these cars should be ~ 4000 and thats probably what the insurance is giving you.

My insruance did the same thing when my rx7 was wirtten off. They tried 3 times cutting me a cheques, and after the 3rd time I personally went into the building with a autotrader in hand, walked up to the person who I was dealing with on the phone, threw the autotrader with all the RX7's highlighted and told her "show me where I can get my car replaced for the money your giving me"

She went on about how it doesnt work like that, blah, blah, blah...

I told her the whole point of me paying $300/month for car insurance (I was 17 at the time) was to replace what i had incase something like this happened. She kept going on with the excuses and then my father came in threatning to get lawyers involved. She cut me a check for the most exphensive RX7 in the trader.

Insurance companies are legal mobsters, don't let them fawk around. Stick to your guns and dont accept anything that you think is not acceptable.

The profits the Car insurance industry makes here in Ontario is in the billions, they can afford top buy you a new 02 focus. ;)

I got about 5Gs for our 2001 SE sedan with ~104,000 KMs on it. That was at the end of last November, straight from the dealer and bought at WHOLESALE prices according to them. I'd say you should get 3-4Gs.

Were you stoned when you decided to post that?

^^ Were you intentionally being a f***TARD when you posted?

Are you being a container of dicksauce or are you genuinely not paying attention? That's what we were given, and the car was wholesaled. No, wait... WHOLESALED because of the fact they couldn't verify the odometer reading on the S2 cluster.

Make sense now?
