So last night I had about 15 minutes to kill before I had to pick up the woman so I decided to take a night drive around the Middle Bench area of Penticton. Its a short drive that takes you from town all the way around a bunch of orchards and takes you back into town near Okanogan beach. The reason why I like driving this road is because all the turns that are along the way really makes you appreciate the the suspension of even just a stock ZX3. It has a couple of 90 degree turns and a couple of S curves. I love my focus. :D
O3 ZX3: Drl-to-drf Mod, Racing mirrors, Shorty antenna, B&M short shifter, Focus Sport 4-1 race header, Focus Sport front strut stabilizer, MBRP cat back, RaceCraft springs, Eibach Pro dampners and struts, RaceCraft 25mm rear stabilizer, Hella lights, Core Racing 17"s.

"I usually don't do this type of work." "I thought you were a professional driver?" "A different kind of driving.".

A Focus are known for there great handling . They are way better than the cobalt ive already had to help push a cobalt out of a snowbank when the rear swayed it just went right around where my focus stayed perfectly straight.

Ya i've gotta say of the small little cars i've driven over the years, my focus now and my past escort gt were prolly the best handling of the bunch. And with the upgraded suspenions on my focus now, definately brings a smile to my face when i get a chance to let it loose on the twisty roads.

The stock suspension is awesome on all of the Foci, most especially the ZX3's and the SVT's. They are even more amazing with suspension kits like the SHM/Mulltimatic setup...you can embarass Audi A4's, 3 series BMW's, most imports, etc.

I am thinking that I'm eventually going to buy the Multimatic suspension kit for my Mustang too. I wanna have my car handle and steer like the FR500C Mustangs, and be able to embarass more expensive cars, and also to prove the the S197 isn't a "One-trick-pony" (which even stock, it's not...it handles and corners VERY well for it's size...).

Bleeding Ford Blue again...

That's why we bought a new Focus as well... after enjoying the S2 setup in our old sedan (and it wasn't even completely converted yet)... the new one just did the trick.

It's one of the best handling cars (if not THE best) under 25Gs.
