There is one obvious difference. They're sold in pairs now.

According to Sylvania, they are their best upgrade (not including their HID's of course). Here's a search for bulbs for the 05 Focus:

CT sells them for around 49.99 to 59.99 for the pair.

Let me know what you think about them. I like to try them out, but I dont want something that will have to be replaced every two months

Hold off on buying Silverstars if you have a Partsource in your area. They are going on 15% off starting tomorrow. Regular Silverstars and Silverstar Ultras.

I have the cool blue lights in my car right now. I couldn't be happier with them. The difference in output was night and day over the stock halogens. Not sure about the silverstars because I couldn't justify $50+ for light bulbs.

Well, just answered my own question....
I contacted Sylvania directly and they don't make any performance lighting in H9.
Any one want some Hella's?

The only thing I noticed on the package Ultras vs. the regular Silverstars is that they last 30% longer than regular Silverstars.

:iono:

I've had Silverstars in my Sable for almost two years now...
