Anybody Good With Alarms?
#1
I am just curious...
My alarm recently started to go off for no reason at all. It would be sitting in the garage and all of a sudden it would go off.
This was going on for about a week.
I decided to unplug the fuse for the alarm to disarm it.

Shortly after this incident, my battery tested really low.
My question is...

Was my alarm going off because my battery was tits up?
Is this a common occurence?

Cheers!
:(

(For the love of gawd please give me some good news)

Yes, the alarm would go off with a low battery. It happened to us.

is it factory or aftermarket? if its aftermarket a low batt COULD cause this IF voltage sencing is an option on the unit. could be condensation on the hood pin(if equipped) or a number of other things. top the batt up and see how it works.

Yes it appears that it has been solved with the new battery.
Thanks Meford.

P.S. I have both aftermarket and stock immobilizer installed.

Cheers!
