New K/n Fipk

well instead of buying a cai and worrying bout hydrolock i went with the k/n fipk
for my svt
looks pretty cool and when it comes in on monday and i have a chance to test it ill review it and post up some pics


anyone ever use this setup???

Is that the drop in version...just replaces the stock filter, right?

I've got one on the GF's accord, gave us better gas mileage, maybe some throttle response to....probably not though.

I think this is the same piece they installed in one of the issues of focus fanatic. If it is the same it was a nice looking piece. Its a plastic short ram with a heat shield and a rubber gasket to seal it at the hood, and the filter had a carbon fiber cap on the cover too.

I have a filtercharger kit like that on my 300.... heatsoak is still a bitch.

So the fipk has been on now for bout 5 days and i must say noticed a difference in power and response.

and its not to loud like some of the other kits(aem cold air)

ran a 15.7 stock... extra 5.5whp and tb response 15.?? any guesstamites

.1-.2 faster in the 1/4 if you get the same launches.
