love the Mercur. Drove one years ago and still to this day want to pick up a used one for fun.

And they come with a turbo in NA too.

Only hassle with the Merkur is that with its sub-par build quality I doubt there are many roadworthy examples left, in fact the last one I saw was at last years Dixie Ford car show IIRC (and it was such a late model example that it only had the one spoiler instead of the pair that the XRTi4? originally came with)
