#1
hey

I need a pickup truck to buy...anyone know of any kicking around?

my max budget is like $1200 ....body has to be decent...truck has to be certifiable, and e-testable....

I know there are lots out there ....but the good deals are always snatched up before i see them.

any truck will do: Ranger, mazda, even full size trucks

lemme know....

thanks!

For $1200 what do you expect to get that has a decent body and runs? I hope that's a typo!

no typo dude....there are more out there than you think. right now on trader there are about 60 trucks for 1500 or less ...of which about 45 are certifiable and will/could pass e-test....but they get snatched up so quickly, or they are too far for me to go look at.

take this one for instance....it might be 1400 but you can guarantee you could talk him down to about 1200 bux. ...i called to check it on saturday...and it was in the middle of being sold....bummer...that's just the tip of the iceberg. you just gotta be quick with the deals that's all....

look at my festiva.....i bought it for $600 e-tested and certified last october....i just sold it on friday for $1250 e-tested and certified .....deals are everywhere

as long as the body is somewhat solid...i'm happy...it's just a beater, and if the eninge is s***....they aRE super cheap and easy to replace/repair

let me know if you see any

250k on a 3L V6 is near rebuild territory.

That's why it was up for $1400. At the same time they go fast at 14. Good luck on talking them down.

I sold my '94 last year with 150k for $4500, and that was a deal because I knew the guy and the money was going on the Focus I was buying.
TEAM PITA: Don't settle for a wannabe, only accept the real deal.
