Okay - you have to explain this ... the guy selling it claims it's a Tempo ... how can you tell?

it's a topaz because I saw the add for it, it has all the topaz parts in it and the rear is distincly different from the 1984-1987 Tempo, as there is more of a streched piller on the topaz, where as the tempo of that model vintage had a window in that rear piller, I had an 1985 Tempo LX, and my friends dad had a 84 Tempo GL. It's like the 1988 - 1993 Tempo and Topaz, the way to always tell them appart was the rear angle of the roof lines on the sedans, the tempo's had more glass and looked naturally flowing and the trunk meets with the rear window, where the topaz was stubby and had a much smaller rear window and a 2" metal line from the trunk to the rear glass, where as the 2 door version were identical from 1986 - 1993 on everything but the grilles, and rear lights over the complete model run of them, the only thing that ever changed even in the refresh of '88 was the interiors.
