European Mirror Install

Tools needed:
10mm socket
T-20 torx driver

Process:
1. Unscrew mirror adjustment knob (turn counter clockwise)
2. Remove plastic cover from door, attached with plastic/metal clips. First from the front of the car, then two clips towards the rear.
3. Remove torx screw
4. Remove 10mm bolt from access hole. (don't drop it inside the door!)
5. Pull mirror away from door, feeding the adjusting cable assembly through access hole

Replace with new mirror, repeat steps in opposite order.

Insert painted cover into mirror by snapping on from bottom to top.

Note:
European mirrors omit the torx screw.
European manual mirror adustment knobs are NOT compatible with North American knobs. I need to pick up the new part..

I got them from www.bosseuroparts.com, definitely 100% recommendation coming from me.

Huh? The stock manual knobs on my car worked fine with the manual european Ford mirrors when I installed them on my car a couple years ago.
