Ok so I am looking at buying a new focus and I was wondering since there is no SVT. Is there a model similar to the SVT coming out or is Ford holding out till 2007.

The ST is the best you get if you are acceptant with a sedan

Unless they are boostin something else :blink:

well, looks like i'll be dead when that comes out...bummer

keep in mind - some of the new focus(i) have a bout 3-4" cut of the roof line - so if your tall its shorter inside - this is extremly noticable in the wagon!!

ST is a nice looking model of the Focus!

Well god damn Ford. I guess I will have to upgrade to a mustang then, but with the price of gas I don't think i can afford a V8. (it is 113.9 a litre in NS)

Hopefully that nicer car has a thrifty four banger in it 'cause by 2008 we could well be seeing gas prices around $1.30/L if this keeps up :rolleyes:

Can't believe that I'm actually spending less monthly on the new Focus versus my old heap, even with the jacking of the insurance premiums, thanks to these insane gas prices :blink:

2008? Dude it's jumped from the low 70's into the $1.04 range in a matter of 2 months. If current economic forcasts hold true, it'll peak at $1.30 in about 4 months...

Heh, frankly I think economic forecasts are like @$$holes, everyone has one and most of them are full of s**t to some degree <_<

I figure it'll level off at $1.10/L for regular by the end of the year, barring any unforeseen disasters and then slowly creep up from there. Now that we've passed the $1/L "mental barrier" no going back...

There are no plans of a Focus SVT being re-released as I understand.

Maybe we are going to have to trade in our focus's and get an SRT 4 or a cobalt SS :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
