Doesn't bother me if any one hates the cars I buy. To each his/her own. As far as I am concerned, it doesn't matter who makes it or where it came from, I buy what I like. :)

Forget him.

Are you gonna bring this thing out lapping at all?

My buddy said he was chased down by one of this in his stage 1 STi and it was hard to get away.

P.S. i think i'll be at Dunnanville this sunday :)

I'm not sure about doing lap days yet. I saw a video of a brand new white SS sedan at Dunville, couple of weeks ago, and it seemed that yes, he was doing really well with his bone stock SS. GM got it right with this one.

Interesting fact, the 08 Cobalt SS coupe did Nurburgring in 8:22. The new Camaro SS did it in 8:19. That's really close considering the Cobalt SS doesn't have nearly the HP or the cost of the Camaro.

what kind of warranty do you have? What would void it?
That's one of the nicest SS's i've seen. I don't know what it is about it, but it's really nice.
nice cobalt. i still have to get used to seeing a chevy symbol on a car like that size and quality.

Warranty doesn't matter to me because I will probably drive the car less than 2500kms per year. Warranty work highly depends on your relation with your selling dealer too. I am in pretty good with my Chevy dealer so I'm not worried. These are bolt on mods which can be removed if necessary.

Thanks. What's the car about? Do a search for 2008 - 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC. As far as the sedan, 2009 is the only year they will be turbocharged, no 2010 Cobalt SS since GM put the axe to just about every SS vehicle that they made up to 2009.

I plan to debage it, at least take off the big bowtie off the trunk as a start.
Pretty nice job you're doing with that Cobalt. I'm not a fan of these cars but I like what you've done. Any plans to lower it & and are those Brembos on the front factory?
considering he is a family guy and has a wife and kids, i dont see why he would do any serious modifications to it.. its got a factory warrenty on it, and im guessing he wants to get the most out of it now, right?

oops never mind, i just saw the CAI and the pipes in the abovve posts, my badl.

Thanks, I'm not going nuts with it, for example, like all the CF I did on my SRT4. I am going to keep this one plain old white, but tint the windows and some other minor exterior mods (in addition to the modified rear bumper with lip).

I am getting a set of D2 Racing coilovers, being built as we speak. The Brembo's are factory. Gotta like that. :)

Mods? I can't help it, it's an addiction not to keep my cars stock.

tastefull car you have there.

small statements make a bigger impact in my words....

In the famous words of Chip Foose.... "the best compliment I can get on a car is, What did you do to it."

looks great man!
