Ok i opted for the 15" winter tires @ $69 a piece and no steelies.

I will wait to buy the steelies when they go on sale at Cdn tire or if anyone is selling steelies.

I'll get a price on those for you tomorrow around noon ok.

here's what i have so far from a place in woodbridge:
4 winter tires + 4 steelies (15") + mounting/balancing + taxes = $565.

i guess that is about the normal range for 4 tires and 4 steelies

Ok I can get the rims at my cost for $60. Dam bolt pattern has to make it so much, a 4X100 is like $20 lol. But those are out of stock.

John ... is this for 15x6 ... and is this an "all in" price?

Yes 15X6". And no thats a s***ty $60 each. I'm very disapointed thought they would be alot cheaper lol.

yeah i realized that the 4x108 bolt pattern makes our rims more costly than the usual. I was looking at cdn tire prices @$45 each but then when u tell them its 4x108 they are more like $55-60 + tax.

Hey guys, don't forget to keep an eye on craigslist and kijiji. I just got these for $250 with Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 tires. Tires still have 10/32 of the original 11/32 tread.

Good find, but by the look of that rust on the weight and tire. It looks like it was sitting for a while. Check to see if they're flat spotted.

They were in a Uhaul storage facility, been there since the end of last winter. I don't think you can flat spot a tire when it's not installed, not enough weight to deform the rubber, anyway they are perfectly fine.

you'd be suprised having a tire sitting just on the tread can flat spot them after it sitting for a while. even the weight of the tire alone can do it. A good balance and you should be fine.

Was just over at CT, close to $800 for Nordic tires and "focus" rims.
Not sure any of it was on sale, plain black 15" rim is $54.99.

Is the interest enough to get this started as I am starting to look at Winter tires now and want to get them on by early November.

The tires I want are the Goodyear EAGLE UG GW3.

My price in Canada is $150/tire for a 16" rim and then, or course, I would need winter rims.

Maybe ... but the opportunity I had in mind has passed ... I had a large wholesaler in Quebec lined up in August but we would have needed 10 sets back then to make the deal work ... I'll call him again.

I just picked up my Arctic Claws today - $500+tx for 4 winter tires + 4 rims (15").
@ Tires N Rims in Woodbridge - Great guys and service.

Awsome, someone else with the same ones I got lol. Which versoin did you get the TXI or the XSI?

TXI (oops in my other post i said xsi).

we'll see how they perform this winter...initial thoughts: they look good!
