Ottawa, Ontario - Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Jaguar, Jeep and Dodge vehicles.

2007 Jaguar XKR
Vehicles affected: 27

On certain vehicles, the brake servo vacuum supply hose may be misrouted, which could cause the hose to be in close proximity to the EGR valve and attachments on the exhaust manifold. The hose may melt or could deteriorate over time, resulting in a leak and loss of brake assistance. Dealers will inspect the brake vacuum hose routing and adjust as necessary, and the hose will be replaced if there are signs of damage.

2007 Dodge Caliber
2007 Jeep Compass
2007 Jeep Patriot
Vehicles affected: 90

On certain vehicles, the length of the rear wheel hub mounting bolts may prevent proper actuation of the park brake. This could allow unintended movement of the vehicle under certain conditions. Dealers will replace the rear wheel hub mounting bolts and brake cable equalizer, and adjust the park brake system.

2007 Jeep Compass
2007 Jeep Patriot
Vehicles affected: 120

Certain vehicles fail to comply with CMVSS 108 - Lighting Systems & Retro-reflective Devices. The daytime running lamps were not properly configured during vehicle assembly and, as a result, may not be function. Dealers will inspect and, if required, update the configuration.

2007 Dodge Ram 2500
2007 Dodge Ram 3500
Vehicles affected: 1,200

Certain heavy-duty 2500/3500 chassis cab trucks fail to comply with CMVSS 108 - Lighting Systems & Retro-reflective Devices. The daytime running lamps were not properly configured during vehicle assembly and, as a result, may not be function. Dealers will inspect and, if required, update the configuration.
