I dont know how you can say that when you drive a s***ty handling boat. :P

I'm pretty sure the GXP will hand the Focus it's ASS :)

And I am talking about Performance, which in this case when talking about a SRT-4, is STRAIGHT LINE.

But You're right about the GTP, a 11 second 4 door boat is slow

the new car will be much better.
I would have sold my focus for jays old boat.
on some twisties? I'll put money on my car Jay. Seriously....and I never said it was SLOW. I know what you can do to cars. ;)

Straight line cars are boring...reason why I dont buy boats or neons.

I'm trying to recall how many WRC's the grandprix was in & won :P

What are you getting now anyways?

If only the hood didn't flap like the wings on a Dash 8 going through serious turbulence. Actually, all their new "small" cars are bad for body/hood shake. It's quite sad. :(

I just hope no one here ever gets into an accident driving a rental Pursuit. There is so much hard plastic on the front of one of those... the shards would do more damage to you than the actual impact.

Son of a .....
1)dude, ur driving a focus....its not a chick magnet either

2)yes, they have been discontinued........plus i'd never buy a new car................yet
and not everyone beats their car up....ur stereotyping now....

i would def take it to my mechanic first before i buy it

1 - Not saying it's a chick magnet or not, 'cause pretty much anything under the $40-50,000 rangeisn't going to attract women. Besides, the kind of girls who attracted only because of the stature of a car aren't the type of girls I want around anyway.

2- I'm basing that on my observation of pretty much every srt4 I've seen has been thouroughly beat on. A buddy of mine used to be a tech for Chrysler and he said that the biggest recomendation to the owners of srt4's on their first service was to replace the front tires. These cars were bought by the younger crowd (not stereotyping) who wanted to compete with modded imports, that's why the car was made. Not that many guys in their early 20's can afford a 'Stang or 'Vette or Viper, etc. etc.

not with a 14.8 1.4mile time.

that was with the old turbo, my new t3 pull 10x harder than that s***ty tdo5

and it was a 14.7 damn it.

I would like to have my '88 coupe again. Exhaust sytem, pulleys, and 2.73:1 gears (not 3.73's) were good for 13.1 @ 108 mph at the track. And only one tranny and one clutch in 5 years of 6000 rpm launches.
^^i donno...im just so not into mustangs.....so many of them around but yet so much power

i don't think insuarence will love me either as soon as i say v8 mustang
2005 Mustang GT Coupe, 5 speed, It'd be $140 per month for this kid
At the end of the day, you don't see Dodge winning the Manufacturer's Title in WRC. A Neon is still a Neon, and I really don't give a s*** if it's any faster than I am or not.
Ya i think right now I'm in the new mustang camp. Might look at that as my new car this summer. My insurance seems to be coming down every year so hopefully it won't go up too much with a Mustang.
