Thanks. If all else fails used tires, cinder blocks and carpet samples are all you need to rack a boat.

My budget is nil. As ZTW hinted earlier in this case I know very well how much a "restoration" or mere ownership could cost but I am practicing heavy self discipline.

Yarrrrrrrrrrrr, looks like tis going to be too big a project.

-It's 20' long 7' wide, holds 18 people, fibreglass built 1965
-I'd have to tow it from the far west of hamilton to the east side
-drag it ashore (assuming it survived the tow)
-strip it of everything rotten
-truck the hull to my house
-spend a couple years fixing
