a while back to see if I could find a solution). I don't mean to harsh anyones buzz but so many things play a part in fuel economy that litres per tank is a real ballpark kinda figure. Lets have anyone who posts about fuel economy (good or bad!) show us figures: litres and klicks. Since we are on the subject, does the SPI get better mileage than the Zetec? I seem to get 34 mpg (Imp.) whether or not I drive in the city or on the highway. Wierd.

I think my best so far was 7.4L/100kms But that was at 130km/h. I could probably easily hit 7.0L/100kms if I stopped putting the hammer down. :D

I've come pretty close to, if not bang on, 6L / 100KMs on the highway. That was pre-mods tho.

Around town I'm still good for 450-500KMs / tank if I'm nice to the throttle. If I'm not, I'm somwhere around 400-430 KMs.

My latest runs were 6.7L / 100KMs on the highway, creeping above 7L if I get stupid with the gas pedal. I think I've defined stupid as 150+ KM/H on the way to Garson more than once
