Ok...so how do you go about checking these things without having to service it and pay $$$ or is that the only way...just go into servicing and ask them to check all these parts ?

What I mean is, how would one know if any of the above listed is the cause? (tire inflation and air filter i think is fine but the others...how do i check them?)

cool I just got back from Parry sound yesterday... I am not sure what my best is but it was around 600 give or take 20k. On the Parry Sound trip I did 350 to a half tank, that was with 3 people and the car full of junk driving at maybe 110.
