Re read your response up there.. Your the one trying to sound like a king s**t.
Ask simon how many tickets he got thrown away, ask me how many I did, ask a million other people how many they got thrown away...
If your paying for stupid pointless tickets and think your screwed right away.... then you deserve to be called a moron.
No ticket is written in stone, thats why we have the judicial system to fight them.
Thanks. ;)

damn right, i had 3 tickets, fought them all at once, had 2 dropped. Nothing is for sure. You're talking about being a man and paying them, be a man and fighting for them all so works.
I was wondering when he was going to notice that mysterygirl, is a woman...longer than i thought...
some cops are dicks, and catch things, other don't, thats the luck of the draw...

fight them in court...you might get off, or have the tickets reduced...but you're complaining about three things that are all valid grounds for a ticket ;)

I never said I didn't break the law...I know I am wrong...I'm just venting! It's just the cop could have been nicer. We are all EQUAL human beings!
I tried showing a little shoulder but I guess having my boyfriend in the car didn't help :D .Maybe my boyfriend should have showed some "shoulder"

If your speeding you have to prepaired to pay, just think of it as "speed tax".
With all the a-holes now driving without insurance I'm glad they are checking for papers.
As for plate cover any Walmart auto accesory is in itself a crime.
Everyone and his sister knows you can't make your license plate less visible. Why would you have a smoked cover on a white car especially? People buy those covers to make the plate less contrasting to the body work not more?

they should have gave you a ticket for those tail lights too...improper ricer accessories on a domestic car, and maybe another ticket for too many rear spoilers on the same car :o
just kidding of course....but by the pictures that you linked, your car is just sreaming "PULL ME OVER" because it fits the police profile for "young streetracer", even though you probably arent.
....and it does seem like you were guilty of all three tickets, and if the cop really wanted to be a prick, i am sure they could have come up with a few more.

I see those plates covers all the time. Thats I would fight. The plate is still readable and in clear veiw. that cop was just a prick. plus the chance of him showing up in court is 50-50. Its worth a try.

Those smoked plate covers are a heat score. They're obviously illegal since they obscure your license plates. Another problem with them is causing a problem with photo radar.. some of those plate covers reflect the flash from the camera. It's a valid ticket.. but if you play dumb and say you didnt know it was illegal apologize for it, take it off, the judge might drop it. It's all up to the judge though.

In MB, the fine for having a plate covering of any kind is now something like $10 more then the fine for running a red light and being caught by an intersection camera. I know folks who have gotten of these tickets if you turn in the offending part to at the police station or proof of removal from the vehicle in question.

the equipment tickets shouldn't be a big deal, you should definitely try to do something about the speeding ticket. go talk to the prosecutor. you'll probably get it reduced

Whatever danny boy. I know its mystery GIRL. Dude is just force of habit. The
"being a man" comment is a saying people. Like its a lesson. Pay it and move on. Fight it if you wish. Not that big of a deal. Not my tickets. Good luck. It's luck of the draw. I have heard of tickets being thrown out all the time too dan. Thats great. Doesn't work for everyone, doesn't work for every ticket. I have had my share of tickets also, but I can tell you personally I have paid more than I have won.

Ya but why would ppl waste there time getting one of those to hide from photo radar. All you need is that spray on s**t and cops would never know.

The 'spray on s**t' eventually washes off. Having a plate cover that covers the plate from the elements lasts a lot longer, and more effectively with a does on the cover and the plate. So my friends say anyways... :P

its at the cops discretion to let you prove you have insurance up to 24 hours, you had insurance if you prove you had insurace at the time the fines should be dropped.
I've got those plates covers on my car for 3 years...nadda so far. The packageing doesn't say you can't have them on your car while driving. There's no "book" that says that in clear english.
And as for the speeding well you may have to pay but you can get the points dropped. If you were overtaking a vehicle or changing lanes you can accellerate beyond the posted speed limit to accomplish overtaking...not sure about that someone told me that once....probably BS :)
I kind of wish there was a book that would let ppl of ontario know whats legal/not legal to do to their cars and put it in black and white so we joe pulic knows right from wrong. Rather than leaving it at the cops discretion, whos desisions often lack reason.....
btw this was at the end of the month, is it true that cops have a "quota" of tickets to write out? If so his court dates must be pretty busy and he may not even show up hence all dropped :)

I was thinking the same thing, but you said it first...your too quick Dan...
I had those plate covers on my 99 cougar for 2 years, and got pulled over 4 times in those 2 years and i never got a ticket, but i and my car was searched, so i guess they had other more important things.
Mysterygirl is just saying the cop was a dick head, i think she knows what she has to do for the most part...cops usually come off as assholes before the offender does, and then the offender returns the attitude...so the cop started it!!

Ouch....... Why so mean??? Just Kidding
Those are old pictures...I have change the tail lights since then...put the stocks back in...sick of the ricer look!!
I'm just vexed cus I drive that street ALL the time and know it's cop heaven and the one time I am caught sleeping at the wheel I get nailed! Haven't had a ticket in over 5 years...I thought he could have reduced it a little!

I have tinted plate covers just like those, and never had a problem with them. Been pulled over for speeding once, and the while the cop DID check the darkness of my window tint, the only ticket I got was for speeding.
I just paid it. I was speeding, got caught - no arguement really.
