its at the cops discretion to let you prove you have insurance up to 24 hours, you had insurance if you prove you had insurace at the time the fines should be dropped.
I've got those plates covers on my car for 3 years...nadda so far. The packageing doesn't say you can't have them on your car while driving. There's no "book" that says that in clear english.
And as for the speeding well you may have to pay but you can get the points dropped. If you were overtaking a vehicle or changing lanes you can accellerate beyond the posted speed limit to accomplish overtaking...not sure about that someone told me that once....probably BS :)
I kind of wish there was a book that would let ppl of ontario know whats legal/not legal to do to their cars and put it in black and white so we joe pulic knows right from wrong. Rather than leaving it at the cops discretion, whos desisions often lack reason.....
btw this was at the end of the month, is it true that cops have a "quota" of tickets to write out? If so his court dates must be pretty busy and he may not even show up hence all dropped :)
