UPDATE:
drove on these for a few hundred street miles and i am impressed. the sidewalls are stiff and there is a substantial amount of dry grip (more than kumho mx)
i highly recommend this tire for users looking for max dry grip at a low cost. i've driven r compound equipped cars on the street and the RT615 feel very similar. i know there is less outright grip than on a r tire, but i can't tell on the street. i run out of guts (i am afraid of hitting a pedestrian or getting a ticket) well before i run out of grip in my daily driving
