u don't get them back , my car is back on the road now with new plates. When my dad bought my car as his winter beater 5 years ago the e brake was seized and brakes were dragging so he cut it. Then he never got around to putting one in . E brake is in and working so they won't have anything to bitch about if they pull me over next time . but then again apparently they will look for things and complain give you a hard time for no reason.
