I have called the paper and am waiting for the guy to get back from lunch.
What's missing is the logic in their argument. (Bring car in car fine, take car away car breaks) they are standing their ground and do not like the fact that they probably know that deep down we are right and they will have to pay.
No, we haven't pissed them off in the past, we just demand that things that need to be fixed be fixed, and we go over our car with a fine tooth comb before and after it goes in the shop. We also demand good service and are very particular about who touches it.
IMO, we are like any car owner who truly loves thier vehicle. i just don't think they like being called onevery mistake they have made, cuz the techs get in trouble for taking shorcuts or being rude.
