No because win me is not the problem. I will also not be picking up another drive., this is the 3rd time I've tried one and they all do the same thing. 3 different brands. If win me was the problem then it would write cd's, it also would work in my brothers system with win me.

I am saying your particular install of WinME is messed up somehow hence the reason 3 drives failed to burn DVDs.

I am saying there is nothing wrong with my install of winme, there is something set wrong. Why else would it burn cd's on the drive but not dvd's?
