Yeah Mang, Still alive... How are things with you?

As for the dodge haters... I'll try to remain unbaised. But at 151k. My 300c has been to the dealership 3 times for unscheduled maintenence. Where as my ZX3 was at ford 17 times in the year I owned it.

I didn't have much better luck with my SVT either.

Not sure what happened to your brother in laws Hemi.... but there's quite a few members on the various LX fourms pushing well over 200,000 Miles.

Im allowed to voice my opinion I hate dodge and I always have now you can F*** off

this hemi had 238,000 and needed body restructuring after it warped the fenders from the impact of 2 pistons

the engine NEVER ran right period its had 4 head gaskets, 2 heads, pretty much all engine controls replaced the 8,6,4 controller would engage on acceleration which would ping the engine its gone through 6 front bearing hubs, the brakes needed replacing every 5 months due to the squeeling, 2 rims were bent from the factory the grille fell off his heated mirrors caught fire his clock runs backwards his cd changers ate his favorite disk and no longer works, the heated seats work when they want, the abs/airbag lights are always on, the electrical light is on, one of the doors is absolutly dead as no power to that door works.. the track on the passenger seat is missing teeth so its either set for super short granny or embed your knees in the glovebox...
so yeah dodge products are junk
if any of you want this pile of s*** BUY IT so I don't have to hear his f*cking gripes on whats broke this time..

P.S. Don't get me started on my Nephews 97 Dakota Either.. I refused to repair it and the dealer wants thousands more then the pile of scrap is worth so its now rusting away on 20inch Boss rims in his backyard with 2 flats

oh yeah hes now on remote key 7 cuz the remote unlock stops working

oh how about the 2 children who were Flattened (Killed) on Highway 7 in Richmond Hill when there s*** caravan was in a low speed front end impact which disengaged the rear hatch which caused the s*** design bench seat lockers to break yeah Mental image this you see cops tarp a seat face down at an accident scene and find out there were toddlers still belted IN or even better YOUR KIDS

So go Bias your ass ive seen to many hurt from this junk company and oddly enuf any of you Focus Canada members who have dodge's I pray for your safety

I told the Fwad friend of my dads not to come back with his caravan and he never has after he parked it on my driveway for the day.. plus the fact I caused about 20 door dings that day in disgust probably did it

P.S. I hate Blackmailers and extortionists they can F-OFF

Feral I hope you're not too biased on Ford's quality.
My father's '99 Taurus was gone 2 years ago due to its notorious tranny failor. Car had just a little over 200k on it. Other then that tranny it was an ok car.

Problems I had/have with my fully loaded 2002 ZTS:

1) Sunroof only opens only one way.

2) DPFE sensor needs a replacement which gives me a check engine light.

3) Passenger engine mount broke on me one morning when I was 160km away from home going to the job site. So the whole engine dropped on one side.

4) Rear driver's side window just exploded when I was driving to work in the morning one time. Only tint fil held it but the whole stracture fell inside of the car. Power motor for that window decided not to work after.

5) Trunk latch only wants to close or open whenever it wants.

6) Radio trasmitter stopped working............no radio.

7) Windshield got a major crack from one little stone chip.

Car started having problems as soon as it rolled 200k mark.....It now has 255k and it is nothing but a bitter for me.

I had a 2000 zx3 enough said . My zx5 was better but my key getting stuck in the ignition pain the ass, broke tranny sucked as$. My srt 8 and srt4 both ran good. My 5.0 stang was only hard on tires. My 91 escort still my fav car of all. Ever company has lemons but to have a narrow mind is unfortunate

where did I ever say that Ford doesn;t have its follies on problems

like

1. all my wagons had to get a 4 hour repair of the body to hatch harness

2. all my cars needed a new ignition

3. all 3 of my wagons had a exploding spring incident

4. 2 of my 4 have had to get a new valve gasket after the oil destroyed the thermostat housing

everyones had there vollies of problems the only car that was run into the ground without major problems was our old Pontiac tempest, 3 accidents yet almost no damage that couldn't be repaired with 12 pack of beet 3 cans of spray paint and to many good laughs

Ive YET to have a Fire started in my car FROM the car or an engine that couldn;t hold its own and blew its sides out

as for your power window motor not working and your glass exploding not many realize those regulators have enuf power to pop a window if you hold the close button while hitting the glass.. yours probably had a short

as for my Ailing 91 Ford Aerostar its got so many problems it would probably fill the post to its max between the body separating from its frame, major MAJOR electrical problems yaddy yaddy yeah its a piece of junk but my dad lived through 1 massive accident and one moderate and walked away from both (Different Aerostars)

As for the Fords radio going south blame the manufacturer of the radio I have (counts) 23 identical stock single cd changer radios with blown FM receiver Crystals

the point im saying is all manufacturers have an endless list of endless bugs/problems but ive yet to see a ford eject a seat and kill children STILL seatbelted in.. yeah all manufacturers have had many deaths resulted in cars but when seen in person its heartbreaking and nauseating

the stone chip cracking could be result in the location on where the body needs strength for flexing which the windshield takes a major roll in it

RIP 1995 Ford Aerostar (i only have this one after the accident the first one was never returned after the accident by the police) and yes the van did snap the concrete pole and it was estimated impact of 100+ and yes the sliding door did separate from the van it was found about 40 feet away in the field

And don't forget the 2000 Focus wagon I walked away from after the black ice incident where I slide sideways into the path of a dual fuel tanker truck
[Image: DSCF1826.jpg]

Im allowed to voice my admiration of safety on Ford Products cuz my family is STILL ALIVE after NUMEROUS impacts and I was NOT alone in the wagon I was the passenger

I believe there was a recall on the focus due to the fact that the rear seat belts would just" unlatch" doesn't seem to safe for my daughter. But I could be wrong I know my seat belts were fixed by the dealer

No Such Recall

the only recall on the rear of the focus are regarding the corrosion of the rear door latch's where they replace the lock assembly in the door if found badly corroded or a hood installed if they show no signs of corrosion/damage

also one for the rear seat hinge assembly (Which is most likely the one)

This is a continuation for the last post would be I just pulled out up the FULL oasis reports for my cars and in total are 18 pages long for repairs of all of them..

before this gets to much into a mosh pit all I wanted to point out I come to a ford site to read about ford cars NOT other brands....

Feral, nobody has ever questioned your ability to fix/resuscitate cars, and I for one am always interested in your latest project/acquisition/repair.

Its just the complete bashing of all things Dodge/Chrysler in your rant that sours some of us. It's one thing to have an opinion, its something else to disrespect the opinions of others.

Nik was simply asking for some constructive comments on the Magnum, which you have been unable to provide.
