SVT owners queston

with my mtx-75 when im drive the highway speed (around 105-115) im hitting 3000 rpm. is the getrag geared better for the highway. not reving out so high?

i only ask because my clutch is going so i was thing of doing the swap if i get lower highway revs
It my not be fast but its LOUD

iirc my rpm is the same if not higher. ideal solution.... svt getrag with mini getrag final drive.

Im about the same, even the the drop from 5th to 6th isnt a lot, but you dont nned to down shift for normal passing Smile

Back in 2004 when I bought my SVTF , my wife's car was a 2003 Focus ZTS with manual transmission , in fifth gear at 120 km/h the tach was showing 3000 rpm and the SVT in sixth at 120 km/h had 3200 or 3400 rpm .
