First Time Drag Runs On The Weekend

ZX3_2NV,Aug 13 2009, 09:09 AM Wrote:lol you know quite a bit. Your launching to hard and spinning way to much out of the whole. Even with all season 2.0 and 2.1 are in your reach. Theres alot more to launching than dropping the clutch. Use the ebrake once your set up and rev it up and start releasing the clutch slowly one it goes green drop the ebrake and go full throttle and ease off the clutch you shouldn't spin to much on the track if you do lower your tire pressure.

Tire pressure was 10lbs for a few runs and 13lbs for some others.

As for the ebrake thing, that sounds like a recipe for burning the clutch way before its prime.

then you won't want me to tell you to slip the clutch until you can hook is the rev stay up turbo is closer to spool and then let the clutch out ..

IT'S ALL ABOUT BEING SMOOTH AND PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

I sound like that A.I clip
