I would love to play a game at a Res over 1280x1024, but my LCD only goes so high. If I could though, I'd run a game at the max res of my screen (max res at 75Hz or better that is, unless it's LCD, then it doesn't matter).

My 9800 Pro will do me a for a little while longer. THough it seems I can no longer overclock it, I get lots of artifacts which I used to not. Perhaps I just need to cool it better now or something. Still stock cooler, but I managed a 33% OC on it before without problem hmm

anyway, nice stuff.

Just to fan the flames willingly... new RAM came in today as well...

OCZ PC3200 EL Platinum Rev. 2 - CAS 2, 2-2-5. - 2 x 512MB sticks, matched pair.

MMmm.. I'm shooting for 7.5GB/sec of memory bandwidth tonight with a latency of 35-40ns.

All that's left after that is a dual-core after Christmas *evil grin*
