They give a f***ing license to anyone. And I'm not talking about speeding. Now, what about truck drivers? You can't tell me all those rampaging morons with AZ licenses deserve them. It used to be that you actually had to WORK to get those licenses. Now, I've seen PLENTY of "Canadians" even pulling out of the truck stops here in North Bay, on their way to Cochrane, Hearst, or wherever they're going. They just drive right out onto a 4-lane, non-divided highway, swinging as wide as they feel, cutting off 2-3 lanes of traffic. If they had skill, they could at least stay within their lanes as they make a right-hand entrance to the highway. But no. Wandering wildebeasts for all! :ph34r: I've been south-bound in the opposite lanes of traffic and had to brake HARD to avoid one of these rocket scientists, more than once.

Dump truck drivers? So far, that seems to be an epidemic for down south as most dump trucks up here seem to be in half-decent shape. Everyone's paid by weight of their load, it seems, so the more they can cram in (and go overweight, and overload their trucks, ruining the chance for safe performance), the more money they make. Remember a couple of years back when that dump truck jumped the traffic island in Brampton (or near there)? At least one dead kid, and that driver will likely be back behind the wheel soon.

I dunno, personally I doubt I'd do much over 120km/h if that was the limit if only because there would be so many cars around me for whom 120 is pushing their luck (I mean I've seen cars on the 400 series highways that are in such poor shape I swear that they're racing to get to a date with the car crusher :ph34r: )

As it is I do about 110km indicated (according to my GPS only 107 actual) and generally that seems to keep me in the flow of traffic, aside from having the occassional rocket scientist riding my rear bumper in the right lane like they wanna hump my car <_<

Those idiots get dealt with with a 130km/h blast if traffic allows, otherwise I slow down to 100 :lol:

Yup, 10 over is my usual cruising speed. If I'm out tuning and the road is straight and desolate, I've been known to... "drop the hammer" from time to time, in the interest of ensuring that my tune is sound ;)

The delicious irony of the matter is that, for most folks, you seem to drive slower on the whole as you gain more power - especially torque. Your acceleration time to your cruising speed is cut down, and thus you seem to need less overall speed for the "thrill" of driving to be felt. A handy deviation from that notion, however, was my 1986 Nissan Pulsar. That car felt "fast" at almost any speed... seriously!
