All cars should be coming with them now.

and that started why? probably because some bleach blond fake boobed soccer mom/pornstar in Cali driving her Escalade couldn't tell that her tire was flat...

Holy s***.

Sorry, but that is the ultimate in being a lazy driver. All this electronic stuff that is being added for "convenience/safety" is getting to be ridiculous. Is it really that hard to walk around your vehicle once in a while to see how your tires look. The only ones that I think are worthwhile having would be the oil change reminder and maybe the low windshield washer fluid warning since the oil change is crucial and the washer fluid tank is usually mounted now where you cannot see it.

Easy there skippy....

When I said, "Should", I meant as in, "because of government mandates, all cars should be coming with the sensors now". It's the law.

yeesh.

and since you brought it up.. yeah... I'm glad that there will be less dumb broads and lazy bastards who view their car as only a means of transportation from point a to point b driving around with low tire pressure.

And not to pick on you, but even your own statement,

indicates that people do indeed need dummy lights.

My driver training, and most professional driving instructors teach you to do a circle check every single time you are about to drive same as checking your oil with every gas fillup. Those dummy lights are there for everytime you don't.

It's not that people are bad drivers (tho many are), it's because nobody, out of convenience and faith in a car's longevity, don't do all the regular checkups like they should.

dummy lights are there to protect us against that.
