**UPDATED**

well i got the car unlocking arming and locking fine now but im havin some trouble getting the door to read ajar.

I wired it up correctly and it wasn't reading closed(running 12V), so with a test of continuity and checking voltage i found that the door trigger on the driver side is getting about 2.5 volts...so im guessing that the alarm module has to read around 12V to work, so i thought i would just attach a 12V source, but in doing so i can't have 14.5V running so i wanted to relay it, can anyone offer some advice on how to wire a relay... I have a relay with #'s 87, 85, 86, 30... and my 87 is the style where its the pronge in the middle...
