Or... just retune with an X-Cal2 and have that faulting sensor disabled. No CEL.

They do it all the time.
Daily driver 1: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport "S"

33" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s, lots of Rough Country gear - bumper, 2.5" lift, swaybar disconnects, Superwinch 10,000lb winch, Detroit Locker in rear D44 axle, custom exhaust, K+N filtercharger, Superchips-tuned.

Daily driver 2: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT

COBB Stage 1+ package - AccessPort tuner, COBB intake and airbox. Stage 2 coming shortly - COBB 3" AT stainless DP and race cat, custom 3" Magnaflow-based exhaust and Stage 2 COBB tune.

Yeah I could but I don't know anybody with an X-cal 2 and if I were to buy the X-cal 2, im looking at a couple hundred at least right? I think the cheaters go for like $30. I mean don't get me wrong I'd rather use the X-cal but like I said i know nobody in town with one.

I heard of O2 cheaters That stop working and cause a cel.

A SCT chip is another option. The can be found for cheaper now days.
This way you get a tune at the same time
