if you are getting a new car, its quite possible the dealer won't sell it to you. when i got my focus it was way cheaper in canada and the US the guy wasn't gonna let go of it unless it left the dealer with ontario plates.

At least with Toyotas...
The first letter in a VIN is the "world source" I know that J=Japan, 2= Canada and 4=US..

if anyone is out to buy a dub.. 9 is brazil W is germany.
random note.. mazda3 start with J i wonder if there is a way to find out if they are more reliable that other cars with that same platform built elsewhere
