New daily driver-it's a 2000 Ford Escort 5 speed red with dark charcoal interior. Sold the Merkur-it was beginning to develop more rust and couldn't keep driving it in the winter. Plus the cost of premium and a longer commute meant I needed a cheaper daily.

Bought it from a couple who have owned it since new.
Great mileage and fun to drive.

Picked up some summer rims-just like these. Size 16x7 with 205 50 16 tires.


I really should just leave it alone but I once the mod habit starts...
First mod I did was to whack 3¼" off the shifter. Waiting for the weather forecast to swap the summers on.
