Looks like the SPI and normal focus own the SI civic :D. Least the SPI in TQ.

My civic equipped with the k20a3 engine (160hp, 130tq) has been dynoed at 165whp and 142tq with only an ebay cai, dc race header, custom midpipe. For only $450usd worth of mods I bolted on 30whp and 20tq over baseline. Lets see any focus accomplish that with so little spent on mods.

yeah, can't beat civics for their eagerness to please.

I'm just assuming that God would prefer a focus owner over a civic one in Heaven.. I could be wrong, but I'm willing to take that chance.

If it weren't for ricers, we wouldn't have any reason to pick on civics,

I like when people use "numbers" in their arguments, normally that is a good thing, but they don't use the right ones.

Code:
Yr      model  Engine  HP       Torque         0-60     1.4 mile

2006    Si       2.0L   197hp    139 ft. lbs     7.2        15.6

2006    Dx      1.8L   140hp     128 ft. lbs     8.18     16.44

2006    ZX3    2.0L   136hp      133ft. lbs

2006  ZX4ST  2.3L   151hp      154 ft. lbs    7.9          16.1

All the above shows is that the argument of the "I rather have more torque" is really stupid and is ONLY used by people who feel they have inferior performing cars. You can see above that even with less torque the Civic is better performing.

Look how close the ST is to the Civic DX for performance...that's scary, .5L more displacement, 11more HP and 26 ft. lbs more torque for that little difference...LOL

It's not all about the HP and torque numbers.

With that said, I challenge any Focus on here to a dyno shootout, or 1/4 mile shootout, or "hwy pull" with my old grandpa, automatic car, if I lose I'll buy you lunch.

I think someone forgot that it's not the same year he bought his focus... there's a lot more FI running around here nowadays.

there's actually a couple cars around here that'd be quicker on the 1320 than P51's
