I also e-mailed the SVT with the stock front end. I know the car from back in the day it's a salvage title the front end was mangaled a younger guy that worked at a body shop bought it and fixed it up drove it for awhile and sold it to the current seller. I offered $800 I was told there is alot of interest and price is firm. He should just part it out. I call Mirrors.

It's the same guy with the $1800 SVT. I went and saw that car and actually it's got some real potential.
Here's the thing - I think he's really motivated - he's asking 1800 and just for kicks I offered 1200. He came back at 1300.
The body is clean and solid - no rust, even under the sills (felt like it had been undercoated) - the clutch does slip but the car is still driveable - the interior is clean - it has CEL (oxygen sensor) and a loopy idle but otherwise sounds fine - it needs the hatch wiring fix - looks like it could use a new valve cover gasket, suspension felt and sounded fine, as did the brakes.
I did a carfax and it came back clean, and I did a government of Ontario lien search - again, clean.

it seems like he thinks the money he dumped into it makes it worth more.
