its not a SVT... it used to look like this....previous owner removed supercharger and made it a stock motor all because of a stuck injector lol...
unless the idiot blew the motor it still should have some rare goodies on it, FocusSport S/C grind cams, Focussport Polished Valve Cover, FK Coilovers, all 3 mounts, find my old F/S post and it should have most of the stuff in it....I think he just ripped out the S/C, did something with the rims, and stained up the seats with oil because he put the supercharger on the seat...
hrug:
didn't the guy actually buy this car for a "winter beater"
I think he last guy did yeah.

Yep, that was my diagnosis, other than that there was no reason for the car to run pig rich. It happened once before I cleaned them and it was fine after that...

interesting... i know my car is running pig rich at times also at idle, however i attributed that to the lack of tuning i have currently on the car as i only have a base tune presently. Maybe ill have to run some cleaner through and if no luck just replace
I was checking that out the other day. He also has some stock svt wheels and some other ones for sale I think. All the ads came up around the same time
I talked to him about the advanti black wheels , he only has three and he said 200 .
He wanted 300 for his svt wheels... Can't remember if it said the rubber was good or not. I personally wouldn't pay that much. But hey someone will.
The Roush is an Uncle Ben's Special.
The SVT is definitely a parts car. Wheels, rear brakes, side skirts, side mirrors, rear seats and door cards is where the money is at...
The ZX5 has no interior prices but seems clean for a starter car or a beater.
Good post Gord!
There is a lot of money in an SVT for those interested in parting a car out. Every single piece on a SVT that is different than a lower model is valuable to somebody. Mirrors, dash, carpet, trim, body mouldings, wing, bumpers, grill, engine and tranny, fuel pump, exhaust, brakes, sway bars, speakers, heck even the door handles. Long story short, you can easily make 2 grand plus from a complete running svt if you put the time in and hustle
