Wow this was buried on page 6.. talking about waking the dead.

But anywho..

Is anyone making their way to the Leafs-Red Wings alumni game tonight?

Should be pretty cool, and they'll be around to sign autographs and stuff (heck, I'll wait in line for Johnny Bower to sign my arm or something).
I'll be wearing the red and white watching the game tomorrow night.

GO WINGS GO!!!!!!!!!!!
haha I'll be on your bandwagon tomorrow AFTERNOON :)

wtf is up with a 3pm game? I guess HNIC will start a tad early.

It'll be both.

The former for you, the latter for me. B)

Wishful thinking.

Loser!
So, the Leafs beat Ottawa, Montreal and Detroit. What year is it?Is OAC Sparky in shock? Me too, :D
I think the devil is up to ordering ice skates 'cause Hell has just about frozen over WRT to the Leafs

Yeah, if only the Leafs can make up the 30+ point disparity between now and the end of the year they could tie where the Wings are today. ;)

A "mere technicality" As I am sure you recall all the years that the Wings sucked, I'm sure you and all the other fans used to take every victory as "the big one" something to hold onto.

The discussion at hand was about today's game. Not that they haven't sucked in the past, not that they are down in the standings dump.

It was about how we beat your "great" team.

The gloating continues. :D

How do they lose 8-0 at home to the Panthers yet beat Ottawa, Montreal and Detroit? Well, I'm gloating over tonights win...#28 beats #1. In the words of Peter Maher (voice of the Flames) YAAAAA BAAAABY!

I have a saying, that even a blind squirrel finds an acorn occasionally.

And the Leafs is a team chock full of blind squirrels.

Hell, the first goal wasn't even a shot on net, and the last was on a goalie with no stick.

So that makes one good Leafs goal. Bravo!

So enjoy it until April, because then it's back to the golf course AGAIN.

What is that, 3 or 4 years that they missed the playoffs? I guess winning one game against a good team is all you have left to celebrate.

We enjoy our little miracles in small bunches.

And you sound like a Ford worker. All the excuses. :P
As an Oakville Ford worker, I have an extensive collection of excuses from Maple Leaf fans dating back to '92 to draw from.

At least this season wasn't Cujo's/Murphy's/Gill's/Burn's/Quinn's fault.
