just a regular 2.25" Magnaflow cat that i bought brand new off one guy for $40
You want to weld the cat as close to the turbo as possible. Too far down and it wont heat up enough and will be useless. Trust me, I welded in the straight section of my exhaust, never passed etest. ;)

thanks for the tips guys ill keep all this in mind

on a good not got my injectors today all the way from greece brand apankin new
got me a boost vac gauge yesterday
1 of 5

to follow will be:
wideband A/F
Oil pressure
pyrometer
and fuel pressure
went with the cobalt serious to match the cluster
heres some pictures of the gauge, yes i knwo everyones seen a gauge, but i think they look good lol

boost/vac is mechanical rest will be electrical

thats why it wouldnt pass:(... since im due for emissions what would you suggest as i already had an e test revoked and had to get a FAKE one for $380. where should i be welding my cat in? no room really

I'd bring it to PSI and have them weld in a cat in the downpipe. He should be able to do it.

well decided to go check on the car today first time since september everything looks good

also took the driver side A piller and put the gauge pod on

also took the donor engine apart and put it in the car to take to work tomorrow for a nice acid bath and bore to house the pistons once they arrive of coarse lol

will post pics once i get the block back

btw the drive side door panel will be changed back to stock
Damm the headliner and boot look awsome with the navy blue. You really need some aftermarket seats and possibly wheel to finish off the interior.
i think im just gonna reupholster the stock seats to match the interior
That would look good aswell just make sure you price it out first. Cause it can get expensive.

took the block and crankcase into to get acid dipped and bored and also ordered an AEM wideband and greddy boost controller

gonna get the pistons ordered but wont get to take those home for a while :(
little update decided to change out the shifter with the one from drew....feels grat and looks great

was super easy to install holy crap
had a little bit of trouble getting the first cable to attach kept popping off then i said eff this got some pliers and it finally snapped on properly....

just sitting in the car and went through the gears once feels really nice trannies super stiff from sitting since september tho

got no pics yet forgot my camera and my cars on the other side of the city:(
got some parts in today
got my taylor wires FINALLY
greddy profec boost controller
and my pistons will arrive on friday
block will be done as soon as i get those pistons to the machine shop so expect some pictures next week of the block :D
