Dry mounted the bumper yesterday to see how the lip looks. I must say it really finished the front off. With the motor out clearance is about 3" from lip to ground. I expect it to be about 1.5" off the ground with the motor in.

got the motor and trans seperated over the weekend aswell (no pics tho) and upon closer inspection we found the source to the majority of my oil leaking problems was a faulty catch can. turns out the tube that tells you the level of oil in the can wasnt connected properly at the bottom resulting in oil just running out of the motor all over the motor. in turn the oil has started to deteriate some of the rubber coolant lines, kinda turned them into a really mushy sticky rubber so ill have to replace some coolant hoses. noticed a few gaskets that will need replasing like the valve cover gasket and maybe a couple others but no where near as bad as what i had thought.

flywheel and pressure plate need to be resurfaced as well and might just get a new clutch altogther not sure yet


next week duties is to rip the rest of the front end out (sway bars, steering rack, control arms, k member) and replace with all new stuff (poly bushings) and clean up the engine bay and degrease it all
What is that beast next to your car. PS IF your motor isout it will sink more than 1.5 with it back in.
well with the motor in, the fender was on the tire. with the motor out its about inch and half off the tire so thats where i got my measurment from.

Little update. Car goes tomorrow for paint. Stay tuned for updates and pictures!!!
Car is semi stripped down and ready for a full respray and bunch of other goodies going on

and here i have attempted do wrap my first header but im going to take the center one off and wrap those together and replace everything with stainless tie wraps. the plastic ones were just for a trial run
